& Improved "PTA" Disposable Air Filters
FEATURES...
To enhance our PTA disposable filters, Holt Filters will start incorporating
PolyStrand® media, a new engineered poly coated fiber technology within
our standard and special sizes. The new engineered fiber enhances airflow
and reduces initial resistance for increased service life. This new media
has increased fiber density which enhances particle size efficiency. This
new poly coated fiber technology is softer to the touch and safer to handle
than standard fiberglass.

APPLICATIONS...
Our
disposable panel filter can be used as a direct replacement
for filters supplied in original equipment. Standard sizes are
available in 1” and 2” depths to accommodate most filter tracks.
Any application can be accommodated with our special sizes, available
in 1/2”, 1” and 2” depths..
OPTIONS...
Available
with tape around the filter frame for added protection against moisture
and/or support bars for added rigidity.

SPECIFICATIONS...
The standard size filter element
shall be constructed of a single piece of heavy-duty, one piece craftboard
frame. The two metal grids shall be thermally bonded internally to the
frame. The metal grids shall be 28 gauge and provide 82% open area. All
corners shall be closed and sealed. The fiber filter media shall be coated
with a non-toxic, non-flammable, odor free adhesive. The fiber media shall
be constructed in a progressively dense fashion from air entering to air
leaving side. The fiber media shall have a skin backing on the air leaving
side. Our disposable panel filters shall be rated to withstand temperatures
up to 180 Fahrenheit. All filters shall be rated Class 2 under U.L. std.
